The short answer

Short answer

An AI receptionist for family law firms answers every call, including late at night. It takes the matter type, any court dates or papers received, and whether children are involved. It tells anyone in danger to hang up and call emergency services. It sends hearing calls to an attorney right away and books consults on your calendar.

01 / Where calls get lost

Where calls slip away.

3 moments
  • 01

    Late-night calls go unanswered

A person calls after a hard day, when the office is closed. No one answers, and they may not call back.

  • 02

    Calls when it is safe

Some callers can only talk when it is safe for them. If the line is busy at that moment, they may not get another chance.

  • 03

    Court papers and hearings

A person gets court papers and has questions the same day. Attorneys are in court or in meetings and cannot step out.

02 / On the phone

What it handles.

It answers from the info you give us about your family law firm. Then it asks the questions you would ask.

Built on your info

Calls it takes

  • A caller says they were served with papers from their spouse’s lawyer.
  • A parent asks about custody after a hard talk with the other parent.
  • A caller asks what happens to the house in a divorce.
  • A caller asks how child support payments are set.
  • A caller asks how to get a protective order.
  • A caller wants to book a consult with an attorney this week.

What it asks

  1. What kind of matter is it: divorce, custody, support, or a protective order?
  2. Have you received any court papers, or is there a court date?
  3. Are there children involved?
  4. Is anyone in danger right now?
  5. What time is best and safest to call you back?

03 / The rules it follows

When it hands off. What it never does.

You set the rules

Sent to a person now

  • Anyone in danger is told to hang up and call 911 right away.
  • A hearing in the next few days goes to an attorney right away.
  • A caller in distress is transferred to a person right away.
  • Anyone who asks for a person gets a transfer or a callback.

It never

  • Give advice about custody, support, or property.
  • Contact the other party or anyone named in a call.
  • Leave a detailed voicemail unless the caller says it is safe.
  • Share anything about other clients or their cases.

04 / How it goes live

How it goes live.

Three steps. We do the building.

3 steps · no mystery box
  1. Start a plan

Start online. Then fill out a short form: your hours, services, common questions, calendar and who gets urgent calls.

  2. We build it and test it with you

We build your receptionist on your family law firm. You call it, and we tune it until it sounds like you.

  3. It goes live on your number

Your calls forward to it. We watch it, tune it as new questions come up, and send you a monthly report. Texting turns on once your carrier registration clears (A2P 10DLC).

The 30-day answer guarantee

06 / Questions

Straight answers.

7 questions

Use the setup checklist to test the facts, calendar and handoff before real calls.

01

What happens if a caller says they are in danger?

The AI tells the caller to hang up and call 911 right away. It does not ask detailed questions while someone may be in danger.

02

Will it leave detailed voicemails about a case?

No, not unless the caller says it is safe. Any voicemail stays short and gives only a callback number.

03

Will it give advice about custody or property?

No. It takes the details and passes them to an attorney. Only an attorney can advise on custody, support or property.

04

Will it contact the other side?

No. The AI never contacts the other party or anyone named in a call.

05

What if a caller does not want to share their number?

The AI can take a first name and a safe time to call back. It does not push for details the caller does not want to give.

06

Will callers know it’s an AI?

Yes, if they ask. It never claims to be a person. Every call starts with a notice that it is recorded. Anyone who wants a person gets a warm transfer or a callback.

07

How much does an AI receptionist for family lawyers cost?

Most family lawyers start with the Fusion Front Desk: the AI Receptionist plus AI Speed-to-Lead, for $797 a month. The one-time build fee is $1,497. We waive it on a 6-month agreement. In Founding 25 (the first 25 clients, or until Dec 31, 2026), we waive it on a 3-month start. Phone calls only? The AI Receptionist alone is $497 a month.
