The short answer

Short answer

An AI receptionist for auto repair shops answers every call to your shop, including calls before you open and after you close. It books drop-offs, answers questions about your services, hours and directions, and asks what is going on with the car. It texts the service writer a summary after each call, and it never diagnoses a car or approves work.

01 / Where calls get lost

Where calls slip away.

3 moments
  • 01

    Service writer at the counter

The phone rings while a customer is signing a repair order. The caller hangs up and tries the next shop on their list.

  • 02

Calls before open and after close

Someone with a warning light or a dead battery calls before the doors open. Nobody picks up until the shop is open again.

  • 03

Techs under the hood all day

Your techs cannot answer the phone while they work in the bays. A driver calling about a tow or a ride gets voicemail.

02 / On the phone

What it handles.

It answers from the info you give us about your auto repair shop. Then it asks the questions you would ask.

Built on your info

Calls it takes

  • A customer asks to book a drop-off for brakes.
  • A customer asks if their car is ready to pick up.
  • A caller asks what services you offer.
  • A caller asks for your hours or directions to the shop.
  • A driver asks what to do about a check engine light.
  • A driver needs a tow for a car that will not start.

What it asks

  1. What year, make and model is the car?
  2. What is going on with the car?
  3. Are any warning lights on?
  4. Can the car be driven, or does it need a tow?
  5. What day works best for a drop-off?

03 / The rules it follows

When it hands off. What it never does.

You set the rules

Sent to a person now

  • A crash, smoke or a fuel smell. If anyone is in danger, the AI says to hang up and call 911.
  • A customer who is upset about a repair or a bill.
  • A customer who says a repair was not done right.
  • Anyone who asks for a person gets a transfer or a callback.

It never

  • Diagnose the car or say what a warning light means.
  • Quote repair prices, unless you gave us set prices to share.
  • Approve work or a repair for the customer.
  • Promise a pickup or drop-off time the shop has not confirmed.

04 / How it goes live

How it goes live.

Three steps. We do the building.

3 steps · no mystery box
  1. Start a plan

Start online. Then fill out a short form: your hours, services, common questions, calendar and who gets urgent calls.

  2. We build it and test it with you

We build your receptionist on your auto repair shop. You call it, and we tune it until it sounds like you.

  3. It goes live on your number

Your calls forward to it. We watch it, tune it as new questions come up, and send you a monthly report. Texting turns on once your carrier registration clears (A2P 10DLC).

The 30-day answer guarantee

Every call answered and logged, or you cancel and pay nothing more.

In your first 30 days, every call routed to the AI is answered and logged in your report. If it isn’t, you can cancel with no further payments. It covers the AI Receptionist and every Desk.

We don’t promise rankings, revenue or ROI. We promise the phone gets answered and you can see it. Details are in the Service terms.

06 / Questions

Straight answers.

7 questions

Use the setup checklist to test the facts, calendar and handoff before real calls.

01

Will it tell a customer what is wrong with their car?

No. It does not diagnose cars or say what a warning light means. It writes down the year, make, model and what is happening, then your service writer takes it from there.

02

Can it approve a repair if a customer says yes on the phone?

No. It never approves work for the customer. It writes down what the customer said and sends it to your service writer to confirm.

03

Can it book drop-offs on my schedule?

Yes. Give it the drop-off days and times you accept, and it books only open times. If a time is not set, it takes a message instead.

04

What happens when a car will not start and needs a tow?

It asks if the car can be driven or needs a tow. It sends the call to a person right away so your team can arrange it.

05

Can it tell customers if their car is ready?

It answers from the status information your team gives us. If the status is not clear, it takes a name and number instead of guessing. It never promises a pickup time your shop has not confirmed.

06

Will callers know it’s an AI?

Yes, if they ask. It never claims to be a person. Every call starts with a notice that it is recorded. Anyone who wants a person gets a warm transfer or a callback.

07

How much does an AI receptionist for auto repair shops cost?

The AI Receptionist is $497 a month, for 1 line and up to 500 AI talk-minutes a month. The one-time build fee is $997. We waive it on a 6-month agreement. In Founding 25 (the first 25 clients, or until Dec 31, 2026), we waive it on a 3-month start.
