CallerHi, our heat quit and it’s freezing in here.

AII’m sorry. Do you smell gas or anything burning? If you do, leave the house and call 911 from outside.

CallerNo, nothing like that. I’m Dana.

AIThanks, Dana. What is the service address?

The short answer

Short answer

An AI receptionist for home services answers your phone when your techs are on a job, on the road or off the clock. It asks for the service address, what is wrong and how urgent it is. It books visits on your calendar, sends urgent calls to your on-call tech, and texts you a summary after every call.

01 / Where calls get lost

Where calls slip away.

3 moments
  • 01

    Techs are on the job

Your techs are under sinks, on ladders and behind the wheel. Their phones ring, and nobody picks up.

  • 02

    Nights and weekends

A furnace quits in the middle of the night. The caller needs someone now, not on Monday morning.

  • 03

    Urgent calls wait in line

A burst pipe or a stuck garage door cannot wait for a callback. The caller hangs up and calls the next company.

02 / On the phone

What it handles.

It answers from the info you give us about your home services company. Then it asks the questions you would ask.

Built on your info

Calls it takes

  • A homeowner says the heat stopped working tonight.
  • A renter reports a water heater that is leaking.
  • A caller asks if you fix garage door openers.
  • A new customer asks for a quote on an AC replacement.
  • A caller wants to move a visit to Thursday morning.
  • A homeowner asks when a tech can come out.

What it asks

  1. What is the service address?
  2. What is going wrong?
  3. Is anyone without heat, water or power right now?
  4. Do you own the home or rent it?
  5. What time works best for a visit?

03 / The rules it follows

When it hands off. What it never does.

You set the rules

Sent to a person now

  • Flooding, a burst pipe or no heat in winter goes to your on-call tech now.
  • A garage door stuck open at night is sent to your on-call tech.
  • A gas smell: it tells the caller to leave the home and call the gas company or 911 from outside. Then it alerts your tech.
  • Anyone who asks for a person gets a transfer or a callback.

It never

  • Diagnose the problem or say what part needs replacing.
  • Quote a repair price unless you gave it a set price to share.
  • Promise an arrival time that your calendar does not show.
  • Ask for a card number, bank details or a Social Security number.

04 / How it goes live

How it goes live.

Three steps. We do the building.

3 steps · no mystery box
  1. Start a plan

Start online. Then fill out a short form: your hours, services, common questions, calendar and who gets urgent calls.

  2. We build it and test it with you

We build your receptionist on your home services company. You call it, and we tune it until it sounds like you.

  3. It goes live on your number

Your calls forward to it. We watch it, tune it as new questions come up, and send you a monthly report. Texting turns on once your carrier registration clears (A2P 10DLC).

The 30-day answer guarantee

06 / Questions

Straight answers.

6 questions

Use the setup checklist to test the facts, calendar and handoff before real calls.

01

Can it book visits on my calendar?

Yes. It offers only the open times on your calendar. It books the visit and sends the details to your team.

02

What happens if a caller smells gas?

The AI tells the caller to leave the home and call the gas company or emergency services from outside. Then it sends the call to your on-call tech.

03

Will it tell callers what is wrong with their system?

No. It takes the details and sends them to your tech. It does not diagnose the problem or say what part needs replacing.

04

What if a caller asks for a real person?

The AI transfers the caller to a person when one is available. If no one is available, it takes a name and number for a callback.

05

Will callers know they are talking to an AI?

Yes. The first thing the AI says is that the call is recorded and that it is your company’s AI assistant. It never claims to be a person.

06

How much does an AI receptionist for home services cost?

Most home services start with the Fusion Front Desk: the AI Receptionist plus AI Speed-to-Lead, for $797 a month. The one-time build fee is $1,497. We waive it on a 6-month agreement. In Founding 25 (the first 25 clients, or until Dec 31, 2026), we waive it on a 3-month start. Phone calls only? The AI Receptionist alone is $497 a month.
